New imminent owner from Kent, England
Hello from England. New user, soon to be new owner. October 4th is the happy day when the following machine (still to be named) arrives :

First MINI in my life after a succession of warm/hot hatches, Imprezas and a BMW 325 Compact Sport (my current vehicle). I'm Systems Manager at the University of Greenwich (South-East London) but live deep in the Kent countryside with Wendy and a small menagerie of chickens (layers), cats, tortoises and a collection of fish.
You've been a great help already, since my colour choice seems extremely rare in the UK and photos are thin on the ground - you Americans seem to have better taste so I was able to see what a Dark Silver with a white roof and wheels looked like before purchasing it. You also convinced me that the SatNav was essential, if expensive.

Thanks for the welcome Donna/Mike and Adam. Pictures will be going up from Thursday 4th - collection at 10am. Sleep starting to be a problem, also the brochures and review reprints have been thumbed to death. But finance is sorted, insurance is setup, I've valeted my BMW for part exchange and I'm good to go. Sadly work has dumped four solid days of meetings on me 
so I'm waiting until next week when I can take five days off to get the car (no name yet) run-in and get some photos up here and at mini2.

Congratulations, Rob! We're another soon-to-be MINI owner from Southern California. We just ordered our first MINI this morning. Yours won't have to travel all the way to the Pacific Ocean to be ordered. Enjoy it!
