Takes A Big Man To Ride A Mini...

....as I'm sure many larger guys can attest. My 6'2 fits in just fine with plenty of headroom (just don't get too far under those traffic lights).

The ride is an 03 S purchased a month ago. I'm really enjoying it and looking forward to making a few mods and enjoying it even more. I'm in the DC burbs in MD so if there are others in the area let me know.

Great site. I've already learned a bunch.

Tarpon,
Welcome to the site. There are a bunch of us around here in DC. I suggest that you check out the DC MINI section of the forum here. And if you have the time come on out to the Mini of Sterling this Saturday morning for a breakfast and meet some of us. We will be motoring out to the British pantry afterwards.

As far as the dimensions of the MINI, it is amazing just how much room there is in that baby. I am 6'3" and fit just fine. Couldn't fit a paper clip between the front and the back seat, but who needs back seat drivers anyway?

6'4" here -- was amazed at how much room the car has for the driver and front passenger.

People almost seem to not believe me when I tell them the car has more legroom than any I've ever owned..

My Jetta had scarcely any legroom to the rear when I was driving, and no one seemed to bat an eye at my driving one.

I think the name "MINI" has a powerful effect on people... Big guy can't drive a thing called a MINI!

Well they don't make a Biggy!
