Hey Dark Chili, does ASK-MINI still say yours is in transit? It sounds like info is not reliable from ASK-MINI or the Owner's Lounge at this point, but I was curious if you've checked either of them. Today is my MA's day off!

 

Both the OL and Ask Mini still say in transit for me, but someone else told me that they usually don't update either of those until the vary end. One guy told me his showed a delivery date of the 15th and he got his on the 14th. I know the question wasn't for me but I just thought I would give you an answer since I happened to see the post

 

Yeah, OL says in transit, but I checked with WW and they offloaded the car Sunday, cleared customs and is done as of today at the VDC.

P.S. today is my MA's day off also, but I couldn't wait so I asked someone else to look. For the amount of money we are forking over its the least they could do.

 

I just got an email from my MA and he said that the port is estimating my car to be at their dealership next Wednesday and would be available for pick up next Friday. If what I read earlier was correct, it takes two to three days to go through Customs, and at the soonest it takes 2 days to go through the port and be inspected by BMW, then approx 2 business days to get to my dealer. So if it arrived Sunday, it got done through Customs today, will be processed Thurs and Fri by the VDC and put on the truck on monday then transit time and cleanup time!!! So hopefully nothing is wrong with my car and my theory is correct.

 

Checked the OL last night and it shows an estimated delivery date of 9/17 so hopefully it will be on time and I can pick it up on the 18th instead of the 21st like my dealer advised me!!!

 

I checked the OL today and it now shows an ETD 9/16, Sunday...today!!! Hopefully they pay overtime and come in and get it and have it ready for me tomorrow to pick up instead of Tuesday!!!

 

definitely worth the wait! this car is great!!!

 

I get to pick mine up on Monday!
