Greetings

Hello Everyone,

Another newbie here. I've already posted a few times, and realized I hadn't properly introduced myself yet.

A little about how I wound up here: I've been a long time customer of Honda and Acura (first new car was an '88 CRX). I've been in the market for a new car, but unsure of what I was really looking for. Not all that excited about what Honda or anybody else has to offer in my price range, to be honest.

All that changed when I dropped in at MINI of the Woodlands (about 4 miles from my house) and took an MCS for a test drive. Suddenly, I was kinda excited.

I ordered my DS/B MCS this week, so now it's all about waiting. And waiting.

Suddenly excited??
Congrats on the new order, I was talking to them when I first got the bug as well but Momentum Mini had the car I wanted on the lot.

Good luck w/ Mini of the Woodlands and enjoy!

Thanks, andyde.

Craig was kind enough to create for me a great "Cars" R56 sig yesterday, so I feel official now.

Welcome and congratulations on your choice. You'll be motoring in no time. Although it may seem longer.

Congrats on your order!!!

The waiting is hard, but it's all worth it in the end. You'll be motoring around real soon.

Stick around NAM for eye candy (pics of others cars) and lots of support. This forum was a great distraction from my nail bitting waiting period. :impatient

A warm thanks to all. The forums here are great - a soothing reassurance that I'm not the only one to be affected by the mysterious and highly contagious MINI fever.

The wait is indeed tough. Fun at the same time though - I almost feel like Ralphie, waiting for his Red Ryder carbine action two-hundred shot range model air rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time. Mind you, I'm middle age, so it's been awhile since I've felt like that.

He's great, and incredibly nice (given the number of custom illustrations he's done for members). My attempt at a proper sig in photoshop was immediately discarded when I got this one in my inbox.
