As another newbie in NYC, I welcome your Mini Cooper to the city. I have had a blast driving my car around here. Makes the traffic a pleasure to negotiate.

Is that a suction-cup EzPass holder? Another quick mod. If you don't have one, get the LightInSight (only $15). With the traffic lights at every corner, I had problems seeing them. This works like a miracle.

Do you street park? I do, and it has been fun scouting for Mini-only spots. Only thing is I already have several bumper scratches, but the money I'm saving on parking can cover future detailing. Not sure how winter is going to be, though.

Welcome to NAM!! Congrats on your new MINI. Driving in NYC has got to be a tough ordeal let alone parking. Several years ago when I was on the road I took a Semi into JFK for a pick up. THe experience is still burned in my menory.

Thanks!

THanks for the tip on the Light and Sight. I can't wait as I am 6'3" tall and I always have to crowch when I come to a stop light. This is going to save me.

I love my iPod connector as well! Controlling my iPod through my steering wheel is a pleasure!

Does anyone know what the button on the left turn signal does? IT's the small tip of the turn signal...and when I push it in...nothing happens!

George
