If it was on a different ship, wouldn't 1-866-ask-mini tell me it was on a vessel already?
On the other hand, this apparently goes to Jacksonville, FL which is essentially where I would be picking my car up!
#227
Your dealer may have some information, but since my car was on a WW vessel, I had more information than the dealer did.

K-Line is a shipping company. While Mini mostly uses WW, it also has a number of cars shipped through one of K-Line's vessels.
http://www.kline.com/
The upside is that it gets cars quicker to the U.S. than if they had to wait for the next WW ship. The downside is they don't have a tracking feature. Therefore, car owners whose vehicles are on a K-Line ship don't know it.
I still haven't heard which port serves Texas buyers. All Minis are sent either to Port Hueneme in California or a pair of distribution centers on the East Coast. Either way, your car will be trucked from the distribution center to Texas.

Once your car reaches Southampton and is ready to be shipped, Ask Mini loses track of it. They won't have any information about the ship or whether it's left the port.

I think I will call my dealer tomorrow and see if it's already on its way, or if he knows anything.

Okay, you were right.
My car is in transit and due to get to Charleston SC on the 23rd. My MA figures about 1 week or so to get to Jax, FL then a little time to get prepped for delivery, so I should get it the first week of Sept.
So for everyone that can't find their car on the WW website: it might well be on its way!
(Ordered July 25th)

^^ Ditto
I called my MA and he told me that my mcs is on a KLine ship named Emden and will also arrive on the 23rd. So aschueler i guess our minis are shipmates.![Thumbs Up](https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/images/smilies/thumb-up.gif)
Oh by the way you can track your mini at the kline site. You just need your Bill of Lading # (BL) that you can get from your MA. The tracking info for my mcs didnt come up but you should at least give it a try. http://app2.kline.com/GctApp/search?id=tracker

wait is almost over
You all know that I am in the military and there is lot of red tape when buying a car tax free over here in Germany. My car arrived last week and I got to see it sitting, waiting for me to drive it off. There is a catch, always right? I had to wait for the Bill of sale and the car to clear customs. Guess what?............................................. .................................................. .................................................. .....................
It came today.....
Now I have to wait for Peter (guy who schedules delivery) to schedule delivery. Friday is the latest. Wednesday the earliest.
I have new 18" Konig Unknown wheels on the way. That should make it look sharp......

I am a Week 32'r. My car is on the Boheme which is pictured here: http://www.walleniuslines.com/doc_up...1184313424.pdf

Tracking
Call sign for Boheme = SIVY
At sea tracking :http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/shiplocations.phtml
Her last activity on sailwx was 7/31/07 at 06:00 so you may get lucky and be able to track her voyage, just depends if the Captain uses his weather reporting system or not.

just heard from my MA. my AB/AB MCS is on a boat that will arrive in SC on 8/30!
apparently, the car left the UK on the 17th. K-Line shows a vessel called "YM Milano' that left the 17th and should arrive in Charelston on the 30th.
i'm assuming a week at the VDC getting the JCW aero kit, and another week to get to STL and I should be in my MCS by late the 2nd week of September.

I think I am on the same boat as you. I have an AB/AB MCS on the way as well. I think we are on the FRISIA though not the "YM Milano". The FRISIA is a roll on/roll off (RO/RO) cargo ship that is due in to Charleston on the 30th. The Milano is a container ship and is unlikely to have any autos as cargo. My MINI was done on 10 August and at the port on the 13th. It just missed the EMDEN. My best guess is I should pick up my MINI on or about 10 Sept. Please bear in mind this is just an educated guess on my part since the mini tacker still shows my car awaiting transport.
