Just bought an 07 red cooper s
Hey, I just picked up a red Mini Cooper S with a white roof this past monday and have been loving every second of driving it, even with having to deal with the break in. I passed on the ordering a custom one because there was one I liked on the lot and they gave me a slight discount on MSRP. I just got the basic premium, cold weather, and auto lights wiper options. I like it a lot so for even with coming from a RSX typeS I like the mini more. I'll be sticking around the forums and asking some questions im sure

Congrats on the new hot rod! Nuttin' wrong w/ buying from the lot...I love impulse buying myself!! If one had been for sale on QVC, probably would have put it on VISA...

Welcome to NAM!!! I got mine off the lot as it had about everything I wanted. With all the moanin and groanin posted by the ones who order I'm not sure I would like to put up with that. On the other hand tracking it's progress would probably be fun.

Our local dealership had many of the color combo I wanted, but they all had the same features, period.
I'm in waiting for my order Chili Red/White Roof & Mirrors. I wanted the upgrade on the sterio system which was a no give. I also don't like real leather (sorry leather lovers). I'm not a PETA member.
I just don't like that it doesn't hold up well to sun/heat/butt sitting/etc. But hey that's what keeps a big part of our business going, leather seats.
My hubby also wanted the web rims and Sport Package.

Well i strolled in june 30th deciding to test drive and walked out putting a deposit on the car They just gave me a discount cause it was the last day of the month, but i figured it was a good deal for a mini. I'll get some pictures tomorrow.
I was all for the cloth seats they are pretty nice and with that huge sunroof, probably a good idea.

Looks like what I ordered except the hubby had one want of his own, on my car, web spoke rims. This wasn't a biggy with me so he got it.

But you need to get with the program. There's no such thing as a "red" MINI !! You can't say red when talking about a MINI without saying either "CHILI", "NIGHTFIRE", or "SOLAR" in front of it.
