Can't wait!

I'm a week 21 guy. I ordered my mello yellow, black bonnet stipe MCS on 5/15 and it was offloaded from the ship in NY on 6/11. I figured my new mini was making record time, but I can't get an update on its progress since. The miniusa web site still shows "en route" and all my MA has told me is that it should be on a truck this week. Not sure if it has even gotten to the Hobeken distribution center yet. Frustrating. Turns out I might still be in the 6-8 week time frame from date of order, which is what my MA initially told me. I guess that should still be considered good compared to some of the other stories I're read on NAM.

Dan't wait for the first drive?

Too bad you cant just go there and get it. I had to buy my car online, and waiting for it to be shipped here was agonizing, and it only needed to come from Chicago to Idaho. I cant imagine what you are going through. It sure sounds beautiful!

I feel your pain :impatient manic. I orderd mine 5/3/07 and it was off loaded yesterday 6/15/07 in NY, and I can't find anything out about it. Apparently the VDC is a top secret sadistic society that enjoys torturing us. I picture them shrewdly monitoring this site and only releasing our Mini's once we have either come to terms with the wait or when it becomes apparent that we are a threat to ourselves or the public.

Ahh! But when you finally get your car, the wait will be forgotten. Til then, just gear up on NAM.

It is hard to track things once they hit the VDC. Just be patient!!! Seriously...good luck!
