Depends on the spelling....quoted from the "typical dutch stuff" website.....
"stroop·wa·fel (de ~); is the correct Dutch spelling for this delicious cookie, which we know, since we are Dutch. However, most English speaking customers spell this word differently. So, for PR reasons, we decided to use this alternative spelling on our website. Thank you to all who have emailed us in the past, but we have a reason!
Stroopwaffels, Stroopwaffles, or Stroopwafels (also known as caramel cookie waffles) are the most popular cookie in the Netherlands. There a many copycat products out there, but there is really nothing like the real thing.
What exactly are stroopwaffels? Here's the answer; 2 thin, crispy rounds of waffle-indented biscuit, wedged together with a kind of caramel syrup. They are chewy when you bite them and taste of cinnamon and mixed spice and aren't too sweet. All stroopwaffels are made with 100% roomboter (cream butter)
Some people enjoy eating their stroopwafels warm. To do this they simply place the waffle on top of their warm cup of coffee or tea. After a couple of minutes the stroopwafel has warmed up and the syrup has melted a little bit. You can also place it in the microwave for about ten to fifteen seconds."
I am so hooked on these things. Trader Joes now carries them......I am so hooked....Les

First upgrade
At last my first upgrade !!!
After a weekend of Mini United, i was not happy with the fact they didn't sell any aftermarket stuff at their, so whent shopping on the net and because of the frustration had to spend big buck to be satisfied again
Shopped around and contacted 2 site in the US as well, but sadly shipping costs was killing, and added up to about the same price here in Holland 1100 dollars
wish i was a US resident seeing prices like 600 dollars pissed me of
But found what is looking for and received it a day later, when i opened the box i was blinded by the glare of a new............................................... .................................................. .......
Invidia Cat Back GT300
After a little fiddling i got the system on and started the car.
At first a little dissapointed by the sound but much better than standard i took her for a spin.
After a warm-up period i noticed at the traffic light, that my car turned into an old diesel car covering me in a cloud of smoke which was quite shamefull
But on the other hand the sound got louder and louder and louder
At the end the sound was terrific and just what i hoped it would be, and a day later i finnaly received my MY04+ original radio cd with mp3, so my week was the greatest week in owning my Mini !!

Did the smoking quit on your car after that?
I know what you mean about insurance. My aunt lives in Denmark, and to mail anything to her just kills me how much it costs!
Congratulations on your upgrades!

Welcome!
I'm 100% Dutch (both sets of my grandparents migrated to the US), and find myself cheering on the Netherlands during the World Cup and Olympics. I don't know any words or the language, but we have our fair share of Dutch artifacts around our home. I used to have a 2002 WRX a few years ago, not unlike your 99 Imprezza. I just got a Cooper S myself last week, and looking forward to enjoying the car.

Welcome to NAM, Barry, from sunny Southern California!
Not all Americans' ancestors came from other countries. For example, some of us are of Native American descent. I'm part Snohomish, a tribe from the Puget Sound area of the Pacific Northwest...salmon fishermen and totem carvers.

@MNIclo i'm sorry about that, it's more of a language problem, we are used to saying indiaan here in holland meaning indian duh
we don't really have another word for native-american, so with americans i meant al but native-americans, sorry if it was not clear enough
