So how many Dragon Runs did you get in?

I was lucky and got into the Dragon Sunday night, I had all week to run the Dragon. I had 22 full Dragon runs and about a half dozen more partials. These include a couple with Chad and the run of my life with Killboy. "Justas" rule! Thanks Pat for being my Dragon Run buddy and to all the volunteers. Plate # MC 37

Sadly, I think we only had three not counting our drive in and back home. Disappointing! We wanted to do more. :(

For many reasons, but foremost only 1 partial, North to South as I came in on Wednesday night.

I have run the Tail many times a couple years ago, this time I wanted to enjoy some of the other great roads. Next time I have a few more I want to try out.

On Sunday, I had almost a solo run out West on the Cherohala Skyway, now that was a good ride.

I just can't enjoy the dragon that much anymore. Between the cops and the bikers (both slow and fast), it's just not that much fun anymore.....

Once on the way in, once on the way out. Got radared both times but slowed down quick enough. After 7 years its all about hanging with friends now. We go other, less busy times during the year to drive.

I did several blasts from the Pit Stop to the dam to give rides to friends. I was the guy with the Cadillac.

I only got in 2 round trip runs. But I covered lots of other area roads. The only cop I saw was on my first run of the dragon down at tabcat bridge.

after a bottle of Crown Royal i think i stared at it literally imagining how the resonance of the v8 under boost would shake my body... i was motionless and alone when this happened

This years event truly felt more like a party Dragon and less of a taming. I am certainly not complaining as I had a great time moving from cabin party to cabin party talking about MINIs, motoring and beer. I think Saturday I made it to 5 just going up Welch road ending with the group from Texas.

I made 4 runs which for me is more than enough. I think even with the large number of people that attend we are getting a good balance of people that want to run versus those that just want to hang out.

My brother and I were there and had an awesome time, but had to leave early on Friday after we did the parade when I got to tired.

Did 7 dragon runs, one on the way in Tuesday, clean run no traffic, 4 runs mid week two of which were clean, the parade (wet), on Saturday it was like rush hour in big city, the one on the way out Sunday morning @ 7AM, that is the time saw absolutely no one.

Glad to hear from you all. While Pittstop Mini Club does a couple events, I try to run the Dragon as often as possible. Burned a lot of gas up, figured I had almost 500 miles on Dragon this year! My "Justa" is really dialed in, tweaked the front Koni's by an 1/8 of a turn to reduce the oversteer just a touch and it was perfect and fast.

I did 20 runs and was going to try for 150 lifetime, but ran out of time and finished with 143. Now the Hellbender, that's a different story. I probably did 15 round trips from Fontana to Deals Gap and my love for that road gave me an excuse to eat breakfast at Deals Gap most days.
