Display message concern

Traded my 2006 for a 2017. Get this message every time I crank up. What should I do.

2017 what does this mean. Can’t get rid of it.

I get a screen similar to this every time I start my 19 Mazda6 ... goes away after 15 seconds or so ...

just a 'pay attention' warning IMO . . . heck after driving steady for more than an hour the car starts asking if I need a break and to keep my hands on the steering wheel . . . . and there's the 'lane drift warning system' . .

That message can be coded out using the Bimmercode app.

You can confirm on the control console by the shifter to make it go away faster.

what does this mean.
It means exactly what it says. The 2006 factory navigation system displayed a similar message as well.

It is normal in the US for cars with factory navigation systems to display a legal disclaimer at every startup. Car manufacturers display the message for liability reasons. You might have seen something like it before if you've ever rented a car with navigation. The message can be removed using diagnostic software.

This Mini does not have navigation. It is a 2017 2 door hatch.

You can either (1) confirm it, or (2) let it time out.

Since you have the smaller LCD screen (being a non-NAV), from what's been said in another thread here, you cannot use the Bimmercode app to disable it.

Yes, it will stay off for the duration of your drive.

My car is a '15 S with non nav display. Bimmercode works fine for me. YMMV

This is what I was thinking of... though I can't comment on it either way.

Bimmercode wouldn't get rid of that center display warning on my 2019 either. I emailed them and there short response was "That head unit connection was not supported"
