Creaking noise when wheel is turned sharp

To cut straight to the point the car makes a creaking noise when I turn the wheel sharp in 1st gear going pretty slow. Car is in great condition. I don't believe the struts are bad (I'm familiar with that issue). It only happens when going slow never makes a noise any other time. Thoughts?

What car?
How many miles?
Any mods?
Can you reproduce it with the car parked? Can you detect where the noise is coming from?

My first guesses would be either the power steering pump, or front camber plates/upper strut mounts.

Need more info.

It sounds like the front drivers side is where the noise is coming from

I'm struggling to diagnose the same thing on my car. My first thought was a dry CV joint but i checked the boots and all seem to be intact so I don't think that's what it is. Interesting that mine only makes the noise after driving a few miles; no noise when it's cold.

Check out this post: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...eak-groan.html it solved my creaking noise problem.
You need a swivel socket or universal joint adapter available from your favorite tool dealer or Sears or Harbor Freight Tools.

All of the bolts were tight so that didn't solve my issue.

It could be anything, axles, steering linkages, suspension. Can you get a video so we can hear the noise? Hearing a noise for some of us is like hearing our favorite song, if we have heard it before we'll know what it is.
