Upper motor mount bolts.

I purchased a new OEM upper motor mount for my R50 from a fellow member, on marketplace. Unfortunately, it came without the bolts. Could one of our vendors tell me which ones I need?

Are you talking about the upper passenger side engine mount? The torx bolt, #5 below is HERE. #4 hex bolt is HERE.

Did you lose your old bolts? You don't need to replace them if you didn't.

Still have the old bolts, just get kind of obsessive about replacing bolts when I fit new parts.

I think bolt 5 is the only bolt that is a one time use bolt and should be replaced if you were to use your old ones.

Bolt 5 is the only single use bolt on the engine mount, everything else will be fine. Torque them to spec and you'll be okay.

While I'll admit I should be a little more like CRC, I will take my chances on those bolts easily lasting the life of my Mini.

Now when I did my head gasket I definitely bought new bolts.

Peace of mind is worth something though. I have a friend that checks the pressure in his tires religiously , despite the fact he has a sensor for it.

Headbolts are a single use TTY bolt, I am glad you didn't try to reuse them. Big jobs like that aren't fun a second time round.

The TPMS system is a fickle mistress, I've had cars come in with 36 PSI in 3 tires and almost 60 PSI in the last and no light on the dash, just a strange pull to the left.

Like I said, I should be a little more **** about some things. But my engine falling out from reusing motor mounts wont keep me awake at night lol

Not to derail the thread, but thats pretty scary that someone filled their tire to 60 psi then wondered why it was pulling. Good thing those people check in with you.
