6 bolts in r53 oil pan.

One day i parked my 2002 r53 in my driveway. After moving the car I notice a spot of oil, which I later investigated and thought it was coming from the back side of the oil pan. I ordered a new oil pan gasket. Removed the oil pan to replace gasket. After removing the oil pan I found six bolts from the support ladder that walked its way off. There were no washers with the bolts that I found. However, when I placed an order for new bolts from the dealership, I was told that I would receive washers as well the bolts. I'm assuming that the assembler inadvertently forgot to install the washers with the bolts during assembly. The other four remaining bolts are also loose. I am just passing the word of accidental discovery and experience. I would like to know if anyone experienced this problem. I am the original owner car has 70k.

So you're saying you found 6 bolts INSIDE the oil pan? That doesn't sound good at all. I presume you have located where they came from? I'd be interested to know what parts they were supposed to be holding in or together...

These are the pictures of the support ladder where the bolts backed out into the oil pan from my 2002 R53 with 70k.

Obviously not needed.

Throw 'em in the trash and bolt it back together - motor on!
