8th EIM "Spring has Sprung" Meet-n-Eat, 3/21 in Cedar Rapids
The 8th Annual EIM "Spring has Sprung" Meet-n-Eat will take place on Saturday, March 21st, back at its traditional location in Cedar Rapids -- the Granite City Food and Brewery located right across 1st Ave from the Lindale Mall.
Rendezvous time is 10:30 am. We will plan to park where we always do, lined up on the northwest/east edge of the lot adjacent to 1st Ave SE and the Marion Bypass (see the Event Calendar Entry for an aerial pic). We'll have some good photo ops and socializing prior to lunch, which will start at 11:00 am.
We'll talk more about plans for some of our upcoming events, including the April EIM Border Skirmish Drive, our candidate mid-May trip, the June Roads Scholar Road Rally, MINI on the Mack, and the EIM Big Adventure Part Deux to eastern Tennessee and the Great Smoky Mountains (i.e., Dragon territory) in late September.
****The RSVP link -- and more information -- can be found in our EIM Event Calendar Entry (<-- link). Please visit.****
We'll be on the lookout for you.

Unfortunately we won't make this meet either! But we so want to go on many of the trips which will be discussed! Gozer is happy to follow along anywhere, really. If the dates are open on my calendar we will be there!
We miss hanging out with our MINI friends! I am sure that by the next time we get together Gozer will be back in her summer shoes and actually clean

Breanne keeps yelling at me,complaining that I don't take her anywhere nice anymore, and how she wants to go around with her top down.
Angel and I are going, and we hope the weather lets us drop the top. We have driven past Granite City multiple times wanting to try the food, but never stopped, so i'm looking forward.

Just heard back from the MINI of Des Moines - Willis Auto Campus folks thanks to some conscientious follow-up by our good friend and Willis employee Jaque_Mate. They will be joining us at Granite City, and they plan to bring along at least one of the new F55 four-door MINIs for our viewing pleasure.

Such a gorgeous Spring day for this event! (It hasn't always been that way in past years...)
Glad to have the MINI of Des Moines support and it was great to have Jeremiah and Jake bring over two of the new "five-door" MINIs for us to have a close look and a test drive. Really enjoyed seeing Britney and Alaina again too. All the best to the Snyder clan with their exciting milestones coming up in May.
It was fun seeing so many good MINI friends again. I especially tip my cap to Peggy and Steve and Brandon for making the long trek over from CB to join us.
Congrats on the MINI Brandon. It's pretty clear that the mod bug has bitten you bad.
Mike, hope that new bionic knee goes in swiftly and serves you well!
