R50/53 Under $500 Header?

Under $500 Header?
I have a R53 and I plan getting an exhaust very soon, I'm looking at either the invidia n1, or stratmosphere. I'm looking to get a header under $500, I have been looking at the m2 header, and the Megan racing header. Of these is one better than the other, is there an even better one I haven't seen, or do I need to spend more than $500. Thanks in advance.

Be careful, if you live is a smog check state and you plan to use your car on the street. Many aftermarket headers have the cat removed. It can become a nightmare to stop coding issues on your car, and will make it impossible to get it through inspection.

.....and the ones that do come with a cat are horrible. Very frequent failures on the cats. And the flex connectors are of a lower quality. That is one of the reasons for the higher priced manifolds, beside the better and more consistent quality.

Please do us all a favor if you drive on the streets, keep the cat no matter what your local DEQ cares or not. I can tell you first hand how I hate following a cat-less car in front of me on race tracks.

So incredible we simple folk just wouldn't understand lolol I say save your pennies and get a reputable header with cat. It'll be worth it.
