Ok folks. I installed new brakes on my 2016 S and when I pulled the old pads off I didn't find additional hardware as show in the link for the new pads. I installed some Autozone pads and I think my knocking noise may be attributed to the lack of this part possible. The image is from a kit listed for a 2016 and the parts I'm referring to are on the very bottom. Any thoughts. Thanks

 

I just did my front brakes and those clips are for the rear pads on a F56. Here's a picture of what the OEM pads look like.
