16x7 ET42 4x100 TE-37 Time Attacks. One of only five sets made in a 16inch size for 4x100. I made a career change last month and have a little one on the way....it's time to part with these as other priorities are more important. :tu:

I waited six months for these....mounted in April....only about 4k miles since...almost new. Tires mounted are 215/50/16 Dunlop DZ101's (very close to stock OD). $1600 + shipping or $200 less for just wheels alone (no tires)

You know I just got my Volks and my center caps dont look like those...they are supposedly carbon fiber but the carbon fiber pattern is printed on....makes me think the entire rim is a counterfeit. But the rims have all the stickers and such and look real...i should weigh them...

 

entirely possible they are. stickers are easy. You need to look for casting marks and the Rays white sticker inside. Even then, I've seen reports of people getting excellent copies. another thing....check for real Rays valvestems and Volk wheel covers....they should have both been included.

You can tell whether they are replicas or not bymeasuring the weight..

 

I got them with the wheels installed...but I can of course weigh the two together...but I did NOT get the covers....should I ask for them? The stickers look real enough...

What do Rays valve stems look like???

 

they are metal and have 'RAYS' cast in the caps

 

Hmm I just weight my wheels and tires together. I thought they would be around 36.5 pounds. But, they were 39 pounds.

 

what tires? model and size

 

Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 in 215/45/17 ...should weigh 22.0 lbs each.

I just rechecked the Ebay auction where I first saw the rims and they did not claim that the caps were carbon fiber...so they are prol just another Volk center cap. The wheel looks legit and based on other rims Volk LE37T times Ive seen it looks kosher.

I am interested but I need to sleep on it because its alot of dough! Whats the lowest price you can go? and how many lbs are the wheels alone because I live in Southern California so shipping will be an issue. Also, are there any scratches/dents on the wheels?
