oooh that's cool too! It's not as cool as us having them made and making cool packaging but it would work. I know TFQON & Detroit tuned made theres but I haven't had a chance to ask what they did it with. I bet craft stores would have do it yourself kits too

yes it is true. i was the first person to make there own mini cookie cutter. i started with another cookie cutter from a site i found on the net. it started as a VW bug, but then i cut apart another cookie cutter (a church) that we no longer used and formed what i wanted my VW one to look like a mini. we just made a few bends and added a small straight section to hold it all together. a drill and a few pop rivets and it was done. a good wash and we were making cookies! you can not worry too much of the over all shape. because as it cooks, i changes and becomes a bit different. now decorate it!

I called foose cookie cutters & they don't make any custom orders but sell the "kit" which includes 72" of aluminum tape/ribbon to shape your own cookie cutters.

It's proving harder than I'd thought and I've been short on time. Still working it though.

I'd like to be added to the list too.
I emailed a few places last year about having custom ones made, but it didn't pan out. This place www.barndtsbakery.com said $40 plus shipping for a custom cookie cutter.

Maybe they could offer a lower price on a group buy. There seems to be a lot of demand here. I would really like one too.

I've already been in contact with Barndt's. I'll be getting back with them tomorrow to see what kind of deal we can work out. I'm sure the larger an order we can get, the lower a price we can negotiate. Before an order gets placed, we can make a posting to gauge seriousness. More to follow. EM, you still interested in coordinating the sale?

That's what I had in mind. I'll do the leg work & make the group buy as my service to the MINI bakers among us.

not too late...we're just trying to find a manufacturer that can do it at a decent price!
