Am I wrong, or can you not access the market place from the mobile app?

 

Kept getting an endless stream of notifications for PMs already read. Forced to uninstall.

 

Never mind...I figured it out. Wish the marketplace didn't link to the website though. Oh, well. Better than nothing I suppose.

I just got 4.2 Jelly Bean on my Galaxy Nexus, and since then I get a "failed login" the first time I open the app in the morning. I log in again, and it's OK all day after that. Odd...

 

After the recent update, the bottom part of my iPad is not responsive anymore in the app. Tried reinstalling, logging out and in, rebooting etc.. It seems that it is the area from the home button and ~1 inch up in regular portret is not responsive. This happens in every orientation. So, depending on the orientation I am unable to use that area on my iPad. Fortunately it only happens in the app, not to the rest of my iPad .

 

ViperNL, same exact problem for me too. I was going nuts trying to figure out what was up. I also noticed that the 'back' button in the upper left isn't responding either. For me no orientation change fixed the problem.

 

Glad I'm not the only one. The back button works for me, but I have to turn the iPad 180 degrees

This is seriously annoying on the ipad and very sad. Is this going to be fixed? It's been sometime and no update? One way to fix it is to have used tapatalk where no issues would exist.

The IPad app is useless. Most areas are not responsive. I finally gave up. I wish it did work cause it's much easier to use the Ipad then my phone.

The developer has serious problems with this app.

 

The NAM android app is terrible. It's non-intuitive, slow, outdated (based on Android 2.x?), not ready for primetime on tablets. Honestly, the best part of the app is the cool opening screen. Just absolutely light-years behind tapatalk, and for good reason. Those guys have invested tons of capital in making that app successful and compatible.

I know, I know, not compatible with the forums blah blah blah security reasons blah blah blah, but it really just smacks of greed. If tapatalk access in NAM was offered at a reasonable yearly cost I'm sure there would be a considerable crowd ready to pay.

 

I'm having no issues with the iPhone one so far, but having a working iPad one would be AWESOME!

Right now I'm just super happy for this. The NA Corvette forum apps don't track unread feeds or subscribed threads so I'm enjoying rubbing that in in my household

 

My iPhone app stopped working too. I'm getting a parse error every time I start the app and it just keeps on loading :(

 

That sucks Viper! :(( I see what you mean about responsiveness on the iPad; I tried that version and something is definitely wonky with the "read/unread" and navigation buttons.

I hope they work all the kinks out soon!!!

 

I use the iPhone / iPad apps all the time, and so far, no issues.

 

I am using the iPhone version and it works great! I love it!

 

That's weird. My iPhone app works great but the iPad app is garbage. Done the reinstall etc still no good. Can't understand why it would work on one and not another?

 

What version of iOS are you running on your iPad? It's total crap for most folks on the iPad it seems. It seems it worked ok till one of the first updates. Perhaps the iOS 6 update or iPhone 5 compatible version. Since then a large part of the screen is unuseable. Funny enough the keyboard still works on those parts of the screen just nothing within the app itself

 

Works fine in portrait, not so well in landscape.

 

I can't stand the mobile app. I use the regular page on my phone.

 

My iPad app is fine. I had given up on the iPhone app until earlier today. The darn thing wouldn't work....been like that for about 3 days now. It would just say "loading" and then spit out some long, retarded "paste error" message. The crazy thing is....I wasn't trying to paste anything

Deleted the app, then re-installed it. So far, so good, but it's only been a few hours.

 

Getting several posting errors via iPhone 5 lately. Some say duplicate post but then the post shows up ....or not. You never can tell till you check and often having trouble posting pictures with server errors popping up. Also The app is still horrible on iPad using iOS 6.1
