Not that I have been here for very long but I agree, tapatalk would be a better choice from a user standpoint, I use it for about 5 other forums which is part of why I don't post here much. I rarely use my computer for forum browsing and while the new app is a marked improvement for me, tapatalk is still much better.

Weird. I can respond on my iPhone 5, but now on my iPad, the Send button never enables. So no matter what I try, I can't respond to any thread on the iPad.

Have you tried closing the app, then open it again? Or deleting the app and reinstalling it again? Or when you're done typing, hitting the return button?

There you go. It's the return. Tried everything else. Signing out, signing back in, uninstalling and reinstalling.

Thanks!

Several bugs! Cannot 'send' a post on iPad 3. The send button sits there dimmed out and unusable. Many times on iPhone 4 and 5 using iOS 6 you cannot go back and edit a word or sentence by highliting and moving the cursor around. The cursor either wont show up in the magnified area of your thumb or it goes to the beginning of the sentence and stays there.

Several issues with iOS 6 as you have described. We are working with the platform developer to get it fixed and should have an update soon.

FYI. iPhone4, iOS6. It keeps sending me reminders of messages and subscriptions that I've read, deleted and no longer subscribe to. I've tried closing the app, deleting, reinstalling, log out/in, still sends them.

I've been receiving the same notifications on my iPhone/iPad also. I hope they fix this as it's becoming annoying.

Good to see that I'm not the only one with the notification problem.

I've been getting the same 9 notifications all at the same time, once every about 45 minutes for 4 days now.

I've deleted the app and re-installed and I haven't received any notifications for about 3 hours. Hopefully that's all it takes to fix the problem.

Other than this, its a fantastic app, thanks!!

EDIT:
Yeah, no. It's still sending notifications.

Ahhhhh, make it stop!!!! I've done everything you have and it's doing the same thing for nearly a week. Deleted app. Reinstalled, same thing. Even when I turn off notifications they still show up and they're old old posts I've already checked. It's annoying to the point I might just go back to viewing in safari and ditch the app altogether.

I've been having an issue where the forums aren't marked as read, even though I've read all the "bold" ones. It is not until I tap the "Share"-button and then select mark as read, it will no longer make the balloon in from of the top forum blue. So it would be nice if that could be fixed.

It also works the other way around, sometimes it does not show that there are any new posts, even though I have not opened the app for a day. All the balloons are greyed out and non of the threads are Bold. Des this have anything to do with the back grounding of the app? It does not seem to happen when I close the app thought the multitask bar in iOS.

When posting a new response to a thread my send button is also greyed out until I hit return. In addition to that I'm also not able to select or position the cursor until I've tapped return.

I also have the notification issue, but I'm not too bothered by it.

This is all on the latest version for the iPad / iPhone.

Wow this app is all kinds of jacked up on the ipad. Move the cursor with your finger and the cursor disappears only to reappear at the start of your post and at that point yo might as well cancel everything you wrote and start over because there's nothing you can do to move the cursor from that point. I just made typos in this post but I dare not move the cursor to correct them or I'll be typing the whole thing over again. Safari web app here I come!

+1 to the editing glitches. Really annoying.

+1 to the notifications spam (I wonder who is paying apple for all of them??) - I told NAM to stop doing notif center and only do badge for now.

Just tap the return button once and then it'll work

Ok, I just downloaded the mobile app to my iPad and it's great for reading forums, but... I can't find a way to post a reply, or to write anything. Is it a read-only app?

That works some of the time for me but just a bit ago I tried to move the cursor and it took the cursor to the start of the post. I could "space bar" the cursor all over the post without moving any letters. I tried hitting return but it did nothing other than move the cursor to the next line. Still couldn't manipulate the cursor so I moved it by space barring it to the end of the line and hit send. It then posted but there was no content on my post.
