Thank you in advance Tar Heel MINI Motoring Club! I don’t have the Facebook so I’ll get it in here, can’t wait to see everyone. Are we there yet?

 

Are there any other cabin rentals recommended besides Fontana Village Resort? (worried about availability by the time we can commit) My wife has been talking about hitting up the dragon since we bought our first MINI the beginning of this year. She has never been. I've been several times on motorcycles but its been over a decade. I'm super excited and hope we can make it! And yes I know today is already Thursday but we're classic for waiting til the last possible second lol.

 

Arrived in sevierville at 9 am. Will be down on the dragon by 5 pm or so, stupid work. We got our cabin last month, so i cant really help there, give them a call and see.

 

Everyone stay safe out there, we helped a motorcycle that went down. He got back up and road out.

 

Thanks to Tar Heel MINI Motoring Club, all the MINIacs there and especially everyone in our little group for a great MSSD weekend. Had an absolute blast! From our newbies(one even driving a Chrysler 300S rental car and some other non-MINI folks) old friends and new friends, we had great (and safe) fun together!

and of course, Colin had to be Colin! (Thank goodness the road wasn’t blocked off for our narrow MINIs or maybe I could have gotten in trouble!)
