Indiana to socal 4days and 3024 miles

Well after shopping around and discovering the outrageous prices in southern California. I decided to call the local dealership back home. A nice sales lady named Ronda at Dreyer & Reinbold BMW/mini in Indianapolis Indiana answered ,and informed me that they actually sold cars at MSRP. I ordered the car within the week.
on may 15 we flew in from San Diego and on the 16 we had our car a 2005 Mini Cooper S with LSD ,HK ,trip computer ,30% tint ,and body color dash.

Very cool photos indeed! It must have been hard to keep it in the "break-in" range

Very reminiscent of our road trip out west last year. Great scenery. Nice work and congratulations!

I have to admit I didn't. I used the mototuneusa.com method:smile:

3 half throttle runs from 40-60% of RPM range
3 3/4 throttle runs from 40-80% of RPM range
3 full throttle runs from 30-100% of RPM range

Changed the oil when I got home from the dealer ,and then made sure to vary the rpms untill 1200 miles.

Great pics! Sounds like you had a good experience with D&R! (D&R is what us locals call Dreyer & Reinbold) Enjoy your new baby!

I love all of the photos. You should have entered the Salt Lake one for the June contest since the theme is Red, White, and Blue.

Great work.

Just discovered this thread.
That fourth pic, the one of "Hy 189 Utah" is awesome!
The MINI set against that background really works with the Chili Red. The shadows cast by the hills and mountains enhance the landscape.

I'd clone out that yellow sign on the left though.

Nice photos! Wish the weather had been nicer on our recent road trip to bring home the new Cooper so I could have taken some time to take some well composed shots.

Looks like you have a fantastic time showing that little British car how beautiful our country is!
