Any excuse to drive... ;)

Last week my friend and I rode to the Dragon for MOTD. Because of work schedules, we left at 5am Saturday morning, drove the Dragon, hung out for a few hours and drove back home.

It was great going with my friend because he's been my best friend for years.

It's mother's day and I was going to drive from NC to Fla. to visit my family. It turns out they're building a house in the mountains in TN.

Soooo, if I must, I'll drive back through the mountains into TN to meet my parents there.

Though I really enjoyed riding with my best friend, I'm looking forward to just cruising with the top down, tunes up and me and my thoughts. (or lack thereof)

I'm so looking forward leaving early tomorrow morning just to go on a cruise.

Can't wait.... cya'll end of the weekend.

Well, the trip was great... got a LOT of great driving in.

However, the worst part of the trip is getting gas on the way home, I pulled out of a driveway and drove over a long, thin piece of metal. (I didn't see it until I heard it)

I pulled over and looked and I've got 5-6 scratches/gouges in my left qtr panel.

I'm SO PISSED. The reason I bought this particular car is because it was in MINT shape and not a mark on it.

Now the only way I can remove the gouges is to paint the qtr and blend the door.

Did I mention I'm pissed??

I'd like to make it to the dragon... maybe next year. It's either the dragon with a road trip or Italy (Ferrari factory tour). I think ITA is going to win.
