My driving is on paved roads. I drive in New Jersey, Penn, NY where there are pleanty of potholes.
I was told that my Pirelli euforia 17" runflats would be $350 per tire after mounting.
They would replace with the same pirelli tire, not a one time thing, and For as long as I own the car. I asked "In what situation can you see the program refusing to give new tires". He said the tires would not be replaced due to vandelism or theft.

Jim,
I was offered that program when I picked my car up too. If you are seriously considering the program, I'm sure there is a lot of room for negotiation. I decided against that plan (Millenium) and the other plan (NSD) which covers only the road hazard on the tire and wheels. Instead, I went with the policy that The Auto Club (http://www.theautoclub.com/plans/tire_and_wheel.jsp) offers. The claim process is not as easy as the dealership offered plans, but for $27.95 a year, you do get piece of mind at a low price. I was referred to them by others on BimmerForums and other enthusiast sites. HTH.

It worked for me. Got an impact separation on my Goodyear F1GSD3 and they replaced it for free.

Cost for 4-tire insurance: $84

Cost to renew insurance for replacement tire: $17

Total: $101

(Cost of new tire: $161, plus mounting and balancing)

Amen! I am thankful to have one a block from my office. If it were any other tire store I would have no idea what I was missing. It is without question the nicest company I have ever dealt with, and if I live/work somewhere without one nearby I will go out of my way to seek them out.

Here's a sample of them going above and beyond: A woman in my office went out to her car in the afternoon and saw she had a flat. A Discount Tire employee drove to our office, put her spare tire on for her, she drove to the store, they repaired the flat and of course put it back on the car. The cost? Zero dollars and zero cents.
