Do the wheels that came on my MC-40 count as BBS wheels?
The center cap says Mini but there are BBS initials on the inside of the wheel.

and how do you get the blacked out grill complete becuase I want that on my mini, usually I'll see them on the internet for sale but it only comes with the top part for the bonnet but not the bumper.
Well, you can always check out the ASA AR1's and AR2's. The company went to BBS to observe how they do things and make a quality copy of their classic style, check em' out...I am

BBS LM's in 18s would be the hottest wheel for the MINI...
Damn Konky, you have some nice taste. I'm not even a fan of old school look but those wheels look f'n sick on your car.

heheheh debatable....even for looks i would choose 17s for 18s every time. 18s look too mismatched to the size of the fender lines

Couldn't agree more. The R53 looks fantastic with 17s and even some 16" designs make it look great (kenchan's car comes to mind).
The R56, however, is a different beast altogether. The comically high ride height, combined with significantly larger wheel opening just beg for 18s.

agreed....though dont get me wrong....i think 15 and 16 are the perfect size. But i know that most people dont think the way i do....so i comprimise with 17s instead of 18s

My plan is to go 18" street and eventually (when the checking account and payroll gods allow) get some super light-weight 16x7 track wheels, a-la BBS RG-F or SSR Comp. Of course this is all moot till my coop gets here, but allow me to indulge myself
.
