Took a look at the ROTA web site. Looks like they've got a lot of great looking wheels. I'm interested to see how they look on the MINI though. Show 'em if you've got 'em.

Thanks!

Are you lowered ? I'd love to see some more shots of your car. I have a set of Slipstreams in a 16x7 in Royal black coming any day now. Do you have any side shots or any up close ?

Nice wheels!

Where do you purchase ROTA wheels? Can you direct me to a website that sells them here in the US? I know ROTA wheels pretty well as they are big in the Philippines (they are made there). I 've had a few sets from them when I was still in Manila and I really liked them.

btw, I am not endorsing ROTA as I do not have any affiliation with the company.

My Rota slipstreams finally came in today and I got them mounted up. They are 16x7 40mm off set in Royal black mounted on some Nitto Neogen 205/50/16s. these will be my canyon carving/auto cross set up. Tell me what you think.

This is my every day set up. 18" Enkei J10's on 215/35/18's

I ordered my Slipstreams and have a bit of a wait now. Anyway, does it bother anyone that they have holes between the wheel bolts where you can see the rust on the (what do you call that part?) the roter?

I thought it would be an interesting look if they had a large cap (same color as the wheel) that went over the whole center area (like on many of the stock wheels). Anyone seen anything like that?

I guess I could paint that area, but I know that where the wheel touches that is a key contact point. I've read to be careful on what you put there such as things to not make the wheel stick. Is it ok to paint that area?

Anyway, I plan on running with the small center covers and hope they don't fall off or get stolen and then remove them for track days.

I have Rota Grids 16x7 et40 Royal Gunmetal finish with 195/55 Dunlop Winter Sport 3D ROF tires as my winter set up. Just washed her up yesterday when temps were finally up to the mid 40's. Never mind the rusty rotors, didn't have a chance to take a spin around the block to burn off that rust before the picture was taken. Yes, the car is still at stock height.
