Falken fk452 225/35/18

anyone have experience with this tire? i'm hearing alot of great words abt the falken brand and the tire itself, just want to get some extra opinions from you guys. also about the tire width, running 225/35/18 on a 18x7.5 +42offset on a flush suspension height (zero wheel gap, just sitting at the tires), will it cause any rubbing issues especially with this wide of a tire?

if it will rub, what is the drilling procedure? i have no idea what to do when ppl mention using a dremel to shave some plastic off, where to shave or cut?

thanks for all replies and opinions!

No experience here with that tire...pretty new...I can say Falken makes some great tires though. I'm thinking of going with that tire as well. Let us know what you think if you get them.

I'm interested on this particular size as well. Any comment on this tire size compare to the 215/35 18".
Thank you.

i don't want to make a bad "cosmetic/performance" decision and went with the wrong size tire to cause rubbing issues. it's alot of trouble when u don't get the right size of tires with the ride height. also the offset is a issue too. i'm sure someone on here can educate all of us alittle on making sure the 225/35/18 tires will be alright with a pretty low ride height~

thanks guys!

Did you ever get the FK452 tires? About 10 years ago, when the FK451 first came out, it did very well in a Euro car magazine tire test, comparing favorably to the top tires back in the day. FK452 is supposed to be better, but then, the competition has also gotten a lot better.

i think i'm sticking with 215/35/18, since my new wheels will be a crazy +37front, +38rear offset. not gonna risk any little space left i have, since i do want to lower it alittle more, 18" wheels will jack my car up quite abit~
