Need wheel info please

Hello all out there, this is my first post.
I have a set of 17x7 mille miglia rims they are the spider sport model from my 1989 nissan 240 sx and they have a 8 bolt pattern, they are 4-100/4-114 with a 38 offset, I think that the center hub ring is 66 mm. I want to know if they would fit on the 07 MCS, the tire size is a 215/45/17. If anyone out there knows anything about this, plese give me some info.
Thanx
BTW, I called tire rack and they couldn't help me because the rims are no longer in their computer system.
Please help

I am no expert, but from those specs I would think they should be fine...as long as you aren't lowered and get the proper hubcentric rings. I suppose you might need a lug conversion kit as well.

Aloha and welcome to NAM.

The wheel lugs on the older MINI were smaller than with the 2007 MINIs.
If you still have your stock wheels from the new MINI then just try a test fitting using the replacement wheels. If it fits the holes OK then you don't need the lug conversion kit.

You can also drill out the holes to a slightly larger size on the replacement wheels- get a shop to help you do that.

For hub rings see
http://www.1010tires.com/hubrings.asp
You can order them in plastic (street use) or metal (for street and track)
Measure accurately the inner hub bore on the wheels and that will be the outside diameter of the ring and the MINI hub bore is 56.1mm. You can get a shop to measure them for you and order some rings but it might be about $35 a set of four.

Otherwise the Miglia rims should fit but you won't be able to lower your suspension without risking rubbing in the rear wheel wells.

215/45-17 are slightly taller than stock tires and the 17x7.5 rims are slightly wider. You could get more clearance for lowering your MINI if you replaced the tires with 215/40-17 someday- those are shorter than stock outer tire diameter and would still fit the rims OK. Slightly firmer ride and don't hit any potholes if you value your rims, tires, and suspension.

Those are some BEAUTIFUL wheels!

Are you going to cover the centercap with one from MINI or leave as is?
