BBS RGR Questions

I just bought the last set of silver BBS RGRs from the Rack and was told that the Brembo BBK will not fit. Anyone here have RGR's with aftermarket brakes? If so what kind and have you had any problems?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

The only BBS wheel for mini that will fit the Brembo kit is the RV-F,
all other BBS wheels will have to be used in conjonction with a wheel spacer.

I had 17" RGRs with the TCE/Wilwood 13" BBK. Fit with no spacers. You do need to be careful when shimming the caliper to provide as much clearance as possible.

As per BBS USA, the only BBS wheel they recommend to be used with a Brembo Brake kit is the RF.

Some other BBS wheels might fit, but BBS maybe feels that there is not enough clearance between the caliper and the wheel.

I trust their recommendation

Thanks, that's the kind of feedback I'm looking for.

Anyone know what size spacers I would need with the Brembo/Dinan BBK and if it would cause 215/45-17's to rub?
