Tire pressure meter and new tires
I´m planning on changing my stock lousy 175/65 15 tires pretty soon, but was wondering if something needs to be done to the tire pressure meters so they´ll work on the new tires.
I´m keeping my stock rims.
Thanks

Thanks a lot.
I just got my Mini´s "new shoes". I got the Michelin Pilot Exalto tires, which are supposedly made for sport compacts.
Mini feels great! After skidding 5 times with the stock 175/65 15 pirellis I got tired of these terrible tires. The new ones grab the pavement like claws.
Now I just have one more question. The owner´s manual (on the Mini) states a tire pressure of 30 psi on my stock tires, and also for cars with the 195/55 16 inch tires. Should I keep the tire pressure at 30? The tire dealer set them at 35 psi, but I think the car is going to bounce a lot with this pressure.
What do you recommend?
