Summer Tires

My MCS came with 17" S-Lites with 205/45R19 84V Pirelli eufori@ runflat tires. I will be getting rid of the tires and possibly the rims in the spring.

I've been reading good things about the Goodyear Eagle F1s. I've also been recommended Bridgestone Potenza RE050A and Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2 tires.
As far as rims go, the one shop recommended getting lighter rims. What would be the advantage of lighter rims to a daily driver? If I go this route, what could I expect to get for my current rims/tires? Any recommendations on rims?

Any feedback on these or other tires would be appreciated.

Thanks

Shorter braking distances, and quicker acceleration.

You've selected 3 great choices - it really depends on what your after.

Goodyear Eagle F1 - best hydroplaning reststance, 2nd best ride.

Bridgestone Potenza RE050A - best on damp pavement, easiet to modulate.

Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2 - easily the best ride quality.

Call me to set it up when you've decided

OK, I've narrowed things down a bit. One last post before I purchase something.

Tires
Yokohama AVS ES100 (205/45R17)
Kumho Ecsta STP (215/40R17) Currently on closeout at TR for $81
Goodyear Eagle F1 (215/40R17)

Wheels
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 (Anthracite, Flat Black, or Hi-Power Silver)
OZ Ultraleggera (Matte Graphite Silver or Black)

What can you tell me about these wheels/brands? Are they worth the
money for a daily driver with occasional aggressive fun runs?

Any pics of the wheels would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help
