Want to remove decals

I recently bought a set of black racing pro N1 wheels. They are black and have yellow lettering painted on. I want to remove the yellow lettering but i am not sure how to go about doing it. Anyone have any ideas?

Here is my 2 cent comment. Don't fool with it. Most time they use a polyester ink that is very durable and almost impossible to remove without damaging the wheel. Perhaps a couple of pieces of black tape? RR

well the ***** is that they used deacls for two of the wheels and i was able to get them off. If it comes down to it i will just take all the paint off and repaint them. I would just rather not have to.
