rotate and balance?

Hi,
I want to rotate my tires myself, first 4500 miles. Should I get them balanced again before rotating them. I have the Dunlop SP 9000s that are directional. Any experience with this would be appreciated.

Thanks

I would say that you do not have to.

Unless you have hit many a pot hole, you could just rotate them front to back.

no need to balance unless you are specifically feeling vibrations.

lol... i have to slow down on the "spirited" launches... once in a while, burnouts... getting new tires and wheels soon. i have 6500 miles on my SP9000 run-flats right now, and they have already been rotated, with 50% tread left... they are getting loud!!!
