Curious to see if anyone has tried the Trak+ wheelspacers. Do they make a noticible difference in handling.

I'm having an itch to get spacers for my S-lites, since they have an offset of +50, they could be pushed out a bit more. The question is (Dan, are you reading this?) How much further can I push out the S-lites and NOT rub?

If the OZ Supreleggera's are 17x7 et 37, that means there will be an extra 13mm clearance between inside of tire and fenderwell, and that the wheel will extend another 13mm out. I don't have my MCS yet, so I can't whip out the measurement tools. Other MINI's with Superleggera's seem to have the wheel exactly flush with the spats - I'd be hard pressed to think there's no rubbing!

back to the question: H&R makes spacers for the MINI in 5, 15, 20, 25, and 30mm spacings. Why no 10mm? That would be close to ideal (I think) behind the OEM S-lite! 15mm is too far out, although 5mm is do-able.

Comments, questions, rants, feedback?
Cheers,
Ryan
