paging Todd from TCE!!
Tonight on my drive home i ran into a slight problem... i have the wilwood factory 12.16 bbk, i was told this was a good choice where areas will see snow...
there was a good dumping of snow, and while i had fun playing around the parking lot about 30 mintes ago, when i was on the offramp to my house.... i brake in a straight line, and slightly depress the pedal to avoid skidding, when all of a sudden, the car slightly veered towards the left, i corrected slowly while slowly letting out the brake... also, during the time when the car veered, i found that initially there's almost no braking effect, then the brakes started to respond....... the second time i brake things went back to normal.... i hope that made sense....
when i got home, i looked at both wheel, is it possible that snow got in between the piston and the caliper or between the disc and the pads? the left side wheel in the front had snow still in between the spokes of the wheel, while the right did not....
im running the standard Q pads that came with the kit... do i need to clean the pistons? is it because of the weather... the ground was wet, with very little amount of slush....

I doubt it's related to the snow at all. Snow, water, slush behind or around a pad or piston is no different here or on any caliper.
I would suggest a review of a few things;
1. The need for a good bleeding of the calipers. Brake grab and pull to one side would make me suspect that the left side would be working fine and the right side not. The side not working would be the one with the air in it.
2. Maybe a different choice of pad compound. The Q pads may tend to ice over not be abrassive enough to grab until they rub through any ice on them.
3. Any problems with excessive pad knock-back. Meaning any loose parts such as wheel nuts, axle nut, brackets or wheel bearings even. This will allow the rotor move out of plane and push pads back more than they should be.
Can I tell you exactly what the issue is? Not without looking at the above items as well.
