Changing brake line

I recently change all the brake line to s.s and have a question for the rear. My car is a 03 S with the banjo fitting in the rear, question is when installing the mounting bolt thru the banjo fitting, does the hole on the bolt has to line up with the hole on the fitting?

no, the fitting provides the path for the fluid. You have to use new crush washers each side of the fitting to provide the seal.

washer

Do checkers or napa have those washers? Or may be I check the condition of the old washers. That means it will require bleeding again :-(

How did the ss brake lines work out for you? Have you noticed any difference in brake pedel feel?

brake line

Sorry guys, I've been out x-mas all day with the family and never work on the brake today. I just installed the TCE 13"BBK and Todd was very helpful and the kit is awsome in everyway. Some spirit driving this week.

problem

Installed new banjo fitting with washers in the rear calipers and stripe the threads. Question is can I just re-tap the threads and apply Teflon tape? Will it solve the leak? Please help.
