Has anyone installed Panasport FS-16 wheels with a big brake kit?

I am considering getting a set of these, but I want to know ahead of time to what extent I may be limiting my options for brake upgrades in the future if I go this route. The JCWs will fit under my S-heavies, but I have not seen any posts or photos of the Panasports fitted to a MINI with big brakes. I'm concerned that there may be spoke clearance issues, as there are with the R85s.

Any thoughts, or empirical observations?

I can't say for sure but I believe that the big brakes don't fit in a 16" wheel. I've got Panasports (and love them) but I've got no plans for a brake upgrade.

 

I've been obsessing about upgrading my wheels for some time now. The photos of your car shod in Panasports was the clincher for my FFCO (Female Financial Control Officer.) Once she saw those, all of the usual "tuner wheels" got quickly vetoed.

I could have just asked her on day 1, and saved myself a lot of waffling.

It also was the photos of your car that led me to wonder if any BBK would fit. Those wheels look like they fit really close to the stock calipers in your pix; that's part why they look better than most of the really lightweight wheels available for the MINI. I have seen a few brake kits advertised on NAM that are supposed to fit under 15's, but is suspect that this applies only to a very few, specific 15 inch (or 16 inch) wheels. And, since I don't really need a big brake kit, I've decided to go ahead and get a set of Panasports as soon as I have the spare coin for them.
