ARRRGHH! Sold out of my wheels

I was all set to purchase a set of SSR GT1's in 17. Went to place my order today but they were gone.

Only have the 18x7.5 left. I worry that 18's would rub though?

Any suggestions?

Yeah, thought of that... Been searching on the web, but all roads seem to lead back to Tire Rack

Yep...Tire rack is pretty much the exclusive US distributor for SSR wheels,
and since SSR declared bankruptcy a couple months ago, I doubt you'll
find many GT1's around elsewhere. When I learned of this, I called them to
get an extra silver 16x7 42ET a week ago before they disappeared, and they had some in white, but none in silver, and no more coming in.
They are sturdy wheels, so hopefully, mine will last a good long while.
If not, .... Volk SE37K,CE28N,TE37, Mugen MF8, or something similar will
be their replacements.

wat's the offset on the 18's? If +43's, shouldn't rub.

The 18x7.5 SSR GT1 wheels are ET40.

215/35-18 tires have a lower overall diameter than stock 205/45-17 tires (23.93" versus 24.26"), and should work fine with stock suspension.

If you do rub with passengers in the back or (after you decide to lower it)
Alex had some tips on how to easily dremel the rear fender area plastic.
