I have an S with the 17 inch performance runfats. Yesterday while driving home from the store, the flat tire light came on. When I got home I checked the pressures, 33 in left rear and 37 in all others. What do you all recommend as tire pressures for max traction before I just go with 37 all around.

I have the 17" Dunlop runflats and the recommended tire pressure is 32.

I 33-38. 33 (for the same pirellis) felt far too sloppy to me--it was pushing much too easily in the turns. I'd go with a minimum of 35 as a compromise between handling/comfort. I've actually just left mine at 38 (though it's harsher/noisier), I'll take the better handling.

Garfield (here or @ MINI2??) said that running 35 front/37 rear actually produced better handling. I haven't taken a moment to try it out.

HTH,

Jeff

Sidbreen,
Look on your driver side door panel and the recommended tire pressure for your tires is listed there.

I have Goodyear 17 all season runflats, and I still can't figure out the correct pressure. The label on the inside of the door is confusing to read. Anyone have this tire, and what they find acceptable for pressure?
