Help needed with my new wheel offset!!!

Hey my fellow MINI freaks! I just got some Exel E2's w/PARADA spec2 tires. I got them from Wheelmax, and they actually did a good job, sent me the correct lugs, wheels balanced, etc., ALTHOUGH, if I had to do it again, I would have ordered them from that GREAT brother CHAD, at DETROIT TUNED! They carry the same stuff as wheelmax, and offer great customer service, and they are MINI specific guys!! Anyway, my question is this, I got the PARADA's in the normal 205/45/17 size that MINI's come with, but the E2 wheels have an offset of 39, instead of I think 42 on the S-"fat" wheels. With this setup which lowering springs will work the best? I was kind of leaning toward the H-sports, but with the change in offset, do you guys think, or know from personal experience, if I would have rubbing issues? By the way, no offense to the runflat lovers, but my car feels SO much better with non-runflats, and the almost 6lb. per corner wheight reduction!!! Night and day, it really is noticeable, the car handles way better, and just feels so much more tossable and light, yet way more sticky, and no more tramlining!!! Please do yourself a favor and UPGRADE to the way a MINI is supposed to feel when those runflats near the end of their lives!!! And save a little cash!! Thanks guys, and I look forward to your input on this topic!! Oh yah, and I will try to get some pictures up soon of the MINI with the new wheels, etc.! Peace!!

So how have the E-2 wheels held up? Can you post any pics of them? Those are the exact wheels I have been trying to decide if I want or not!

Man...these E-2 Wheels must be very soft honestly!! I have bent two of them already. The first one I had fixed, but if they are going to bend this easy, I will probably be looking for a new set of rims.

The rims look great, and are fairly light for a 17" wheel with a thick lip like that, but the bending thing sucks.

I might go with 16" wheels or something, with some of those new Falken Azenis 615 tires.

So....to answer your question, the little pothole areas that I hit were not that big, and I was surprised I bent the wheel, especially the second time. They are repairable though, so if you want to spend $100 every few weeks or so, buy em' up!!

Or maybe just as a track wheel?

I have Parada Spec 2's, 40's on my Konig Imagines and put H Sports on the car. Lowered it about 1 inch. Took the car to local BMW School at Putnam Park road course last weekend and was really pleased with the cornering abilities of the new springs. Sway bar is next for better turn in.

Ya...I've got the Parada's as well!! They are truelly a sticky tire, but at the track they just wear like crazy. I'm sure most tires do, especially as soft and sticky as these tires are. I need a tire sponsorship!!
