15" Tire Replacement Recommendation?

What have the few of you out there with 15" rims done for replacement tires?
At about what mileage did you replace the front?

Your front tire wear will reflect your driving habits and roads used. Many drivers will notice quite a bit of wear on the fronts before it happens on the rears. Roughly 12,000 to 20,000 miles will be enough to toast a front tire that is not being regularly rotated to the back every 5000 miles or so. Also if tire pressure is not kept up to 32 psi at least or if alignment is out of setting due to hitting curbs and potholes then the tire will wear much more quickly.

For replacement tires see

While you can replace them with stock Continentals there are many other good choices and more performance oriented tire sizes like-
195/55-15
205/55-15
Try calling/emailing alex@tirerack.com to see what tirerack has or try edgeracing.com and search by tire size.
There is a wide range of prices. If you need a tire that does well in the rain or light snow then an All season Performance tire would be good. The higher the performance the quicker it wears out and the more often you'll need to replace them.

205/55/15 is perfect. Good selection, too. With 195/55/15 you'll be short on diameter and unless you're using them for autocross, you'll put on a lot of extra miles for nothing.
