Rear brake caliper r56

Just found both rear calipers need replacement about time I suppose.

I test fitted one side, the SS keepers how does one hold in place when fitting caliper?
as they do not stay two hands are needed to fit caliper over the pads?
just wondering if everyone does use to SS keepers?

Are you referring to the stainless brake hardware pieces the brakes fit into.
If so they're supposed to fit securely onto the brake carrier top and bottom.
Then put the bottom ear of the pad in first then the top.
