TPMS for R56

Getting a tire replaced at Costco. 2009 Base R56.

TPMS battery dead. Need to provide them with new TPMS or pay them $99 for one.

Recommendations? They need to be able to program it.

This OK? Does it matter which I get?

Thanks!!
Steve

If you go with your own, you’d have to make sure the new tpms sensor runs at the same hz or frequency for the system. Also make sure you get the core unless you plan on trying to reuse.

I would make sure it communicates with the system, some dont: Read up on this first:

Also, there is a split in the production year 9/2009

How often do the sensors need replacing/battery life?

I have a 2013 GP2 and will be replacing tires soon.

Cheers!
