Fender Rolling

So i'm running 8.5 rims on my countryman with a 225 45 18in tire and I am having the issue of rubbing mostly on the back. What are people doing to roll their fenders? Are you trimming them? What is the solution?
Thanks in advance.

Hmmm... interesting, have you lowered it or anything? I’m running the same tire size on the 18” turbofans with no issues at all, plenty of room to spare actually. Even with a wider rim, it looks like there is plenty of space.

Yeah I have Megan Racing Coils on and lowered it a lot. I used to be much lower but because of the more aggressive offset it rubs slightly

Ahhhh, that explains it. Ok. I don’t know, other than a different offset wheel, but I’m sure somebody here has a solution for you.
It looks great! That’s a really good picture.

I remember seeing someone trim the inner fender (under the arches) someplace....they were installed wider arches/flares. They literally took a grinder to it....with the arches off, of course. If I remember correctly, they were installing the type of arches that had the mounting bolts exposed.

Great looking Countryman!

You will not have to roll the fender ( metal part) unless you trimmed down the plastic fender so much, you have to be pretty much on air and slammed to the ground on a MINI to reach that point or with some huge wheels. On most plastic flares you have about an " or so to you hit the metal body.
