PSS vs PS3 no comparison.
Switched to the PSS from the AS3, FANTASTIC......and today it was 28 degrees coming into work, dry never any snowhere just cold at times and handled great although didnt drive aggressively. But in the dry, over 40 degrees thay are like glue. No comparison to the PS3, NONE!

PSS is a dedicated summer tire, while the AS3 is still an all-season tire. No doubt the PSS will be better in the dry.
While the PSS is better in dry, I find the AS3 trumps it in really wet conditions (standing water and heavy rain). The AS3 is perfect for me here in Raincouver, BC. :P
For cold weather, i use dedicated winter tires. Pirelli Sottozero SerieII. Grips like crazy when the temp drops around freezing.
And for when it gets really hot, I switch to the OEM Kumhos V700s. Sticks like glue lol
