We have VDO ones here with free ship a little less cost then the offical MINI one. Also it you have aftermarket wheel you have to make sure they will fit. Some aftermarket wheels are not made for TPMS.
I was removing my summer tires today for the season and happen to notice this ...
It appears the rear tires have been kissing the side of the trailing arms. It's interesting that all the discussion on interference is either the front struts or fender flares but I don't remember seeing anything about this.
Has anyone ever noticed this before? Wonder if it's time for some spacers?

That is interesting indeed. What offset are you running with your wheels?
Team Dynamics Pro race 1.2 18x8 (E45) gloss black wheels for my 2016 JCW just showed up FedEx
Took almost as long to get as the car itself. Ordered back in Aug. through OutMotoring.
The production run slot in the UK was the issue. These will be mounted with 235-35-18 rubber nxt spring on my silver white Johnny CW.

So this is what I finally was able to finish. Planning to powder coat the rims as I'm not a fan of the black chrome color. They are Yokohama advan kreutzer xi; distributed by mackin industry. 17x8 running on 215/45/17. Getting alignment done as we speak because the rear rubs on bumps and dips. Hopefully some negative camber will fix it.
Lowered on JCW coils, JCW BBK installed as well.
This was my only rim option even though it wasn't my first choice because this happened

The stock runflats blew on the sidewall due to some road debris I apparently hit on the freeway. I did not see it but apparently there must have been something!
215 40 18 but could have went wider. I have about 5/8" clearance between the rim and the strut. Wish I would have went 235....live and learn Maybe next year!
Not sure if that will work. Ive got et38 with the spacer in the front. Also really depends on what kind of tire you're running. Doesn't seem to be a lot of choice out there for a 235 35 18. I think the 215's will be good. They are Michelins and run wide.
17x8" Kosei K8R Wheels (et45)
215/45 Conti DW Tires
OEM Tire Pressure Sensors
< 37lbs per corner
No spacers, no rubbing, no complaints at all.
I've run these for 1,500 miles, split pretty evenly between stock suspension and JCW Pro Coilovers (with alignment) and they're a huge improvement over stock on ride quality, grip, and just overall performance.
You can buy them here, as I'm probably selling the car soon.
Thanks! Probably the best answer is that I go through cars too often... But also because I'm selling my Miata as well and looking for one car with a bit more space than either of these offered.
