Show me your WHEELS! 2.0
After scouring the internet for months, I finally found a set and someone willing to ship them, all the way from Finland! BBS RC 321, 16x7.5, et 35. I've been wanting these wheels for a long time. I just have this one wheel so far, the others were sent separately and have been stuck in customs for some reason for over a week. I'll post pictures when the rest come in and I put them on.

I also need to decide what tires to put on them. I'm considering 205/50, 215/45, or 225/45. I'm not sure how the 225/45 would look -- I like a chunky tire, but I think generally that looks better with a concave or "deep dish" wheel. The spokes on these wheels are pretty much straight and aren't concave at all -- any opinions on whether a meaty tire would look good on these wheels? I think I'm leaning towards 215/45, as that will probably be a more "straight" look with the wheels. Not sure if the fender gap will be more noticeable, but I plan on lowering sometime in the future anyway.

I can finally post something in this thread!
...actually I could've posted a few months ago. I bought white Sparco Assetto Garas when Tire Rack put them on sale a while back, then laziness and lack of need kept them in their boxes for a while.

Then recently I noticed a bump in the sidewall of one of my tires which gave me an excuse to buy some tires and use the new wheels. When they get here at least. For now, this is why I've been putting it off:

I always planned to paint the barrels blue cause why not, might as well match my mirrors and interior color line. And white alone just wasn't ricey enough for me. That and it'll hide brake dust back there better than white (I got some Opti-Coat so hopefully that won't get too bad). A few spokes in I started wishing I had gotten the OZ Crono HTs (5 spoke) years ago...I've pretty much been masking off all day and just got the second wheel ready for paint before stopping for the night. I have the process somewhat down now, but it's still taking forever.

Realistically it'll just look black most of the time once mounted, but hopefully I'll be able to catch a bit of the blue now and then if the sun hits it right.

Nice! What size tire is that? I also just got 7.5" width wheels as well and I'm debating between 205, 215, and 225 for the tires. Your set up looks pretty good.
Thanks. You'll want to go with 215. Better size. 225 is more tire and not necessary.
this is the ***** effing $h1t wheel raght here:

Like the R90's , the predecessor to the R98 web spokes and was in anthracite for the MC40 MINIs.
They came in a single piece 16" R90 16 X 6.5 J ET:48 version also.

The R90's in the 17" came in Silver face, Anthracite ( MC40 ), and Black. I believe the fasteners are titanium like the R98 web spokes.

What offset are those?
Per their website the only size they offer are the 17x9" with an ET20. Which seems huge to me... lol I'm looking at 16x8's on 205/40/16's sitting on Megan coils and have been nervous... but people keep telling me it will look sick... so saving and hoping for the best now lol.
Finally got around to putting these on: BBS RC 321, 16x7.5 et 35 on 215/45 Kumho Ecsta XS. These wheels in this size and offset were extremely hard to come by, and I actually can't find any picture of a Mini with these wheels in 16" size on the internet. So possibly this is the first time a picture of these wheels in this size on a Mini are posted online! Feel free to burst my bubble if you know some already posted somewhere, though, haha!
The pictures are with Megan EZ Street Coilovers, which I had installed at the same time as the wheels. They could go lower, but I'm happy with it for now:
