Definitely NOT look like Volk TE-37's. Those look like Rota Grids with Volk labels.

Those may be knockoffs but they definitely aren't grids. There ARE different styles of TE-37s that have come out over the years...so unless the owner is able to chime in theres no real point in arguing.

What makes you think they are not VOLKs? Did you look at the photo in the link I provided. As soon as I saw the pics that were posted, I knew what they were. The VOLK TE-37 wheel has been around for several years. A lot of the JDM boys used them on their HONDAs, MITSUs, and NISSANs. The TE-37 is available in a 17x7.5/4x100 and a 17x8/4x100.

And because of their age and popularity many companies have copied them.

Listing the wheel specs isn't going to make your point any more believable.

I have owned 3 pairs of TE-37's (7 pairs of Volks total), I have never seen an authentic set of TE-37's with that much of a concave face on a high offset. Volks with higher offsets always have a flat face and you really only see a concave face when you get in the +30 and lower realm on wheels wider than 9".

The owner of the wheels told me that they are knockoffs, but because of his bad english, he didn't told me what specific make, model, offset and wide are the wheels.

I also never saw real TE37 with this much concave and a high offset. The concave face makes them special for me.

Looks good. It seems that whenever you do a blackout treatment, black wheels are a must.

Wheel reply

Thanks! Love the splitter. Coilovers or springs? How do you like them? That's next on the list.

Springs - H&R Sport springs with OEM Sport shocks. (1.4" drop)

I like them quite well. The combo still allows for a nice ride, but they are firm enough for some aggressive driving. The rear suspension is also sporting a NM Engineering 22mm adjustable rear sway bar, NM Engineering adjustable sway bar links, and Helix lower control arms.

Next on my list is the Akrapovic stainless downpipe w/ cat. It arrives on Monday. In a few days, I will be ordering the Cobb Accessport to install a Stage 2 tune.

I can't even describe how much of a smoother ride I have.

So I present to you SgtPepper sitting on 16" Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires wrapped around 16" Konig Lace rims.

That looks sooooo good.

Very nice, Ryan! Always wanted an S2K. Prices are ridiculous in the used market here in SoCal. My buddy had a Spa Yellow. He bought it for $13k and after about 2 years and another 20k miles, sold it for $15k.

I had a White Prelude before the G35 with Bronze Volks too

I am still looking for the right wheels.

I wanted the Emotion XD-9 but Works does not make them in 17x7.5 +32 in 4x100 anymore.

They have the 17x8.5 +32 4x100, which I have see them on an R56 like this one

I am not sure if it will fit my R52. Does anyone have an R52 with those size wheels?

This is my car with stock wheels and new coilovers.

Thanks

LOVE Work wheels. I absolutely cannot get enough of any of the Equip series. Your R52 is lookin mighty low LOVE IT I doubt you would be able to run that size and offset without added camber in the back since I see you're already tucked. My 205's on my S-Lites will sometimes contact that inner fender over bumps as I'm tucked as well...and 205mm=8in (approximately).

Thanks for information. I am really not looking to tuck though I want to be flush with the outer wheel arch. Do you still think I will not be able to run that size?

Like I said...not sure since I'm running on stockers. 8.5" is fairly wide for our first-gens though. I fairly sure you CAN run those wheels but I'm not sure if you would run into any fitment issues or not.
