Brakes for street and track?
OK, I understand now. Yes, some fluids, often 5.1's will absorb moisture at a faster rate than your average DOT 3 or 4. Don't know which ones, off hand. I'd just count on a full flush every 2 years. Or more often with track days thrown in.
I would love to upgrade to a full StopTech system, front and rear and in black, someday, but that'll have to wait. Sigh.......

Would I be able to do just fluid and pads like EBC Red Stuff now? And if I feel I need more down the road as I learn the car I can upgrade the rotors and lines? The dealer did say I have about half the life left on my rotors they should be good for a few track day’s right?
So I now have just over 600 miles on the new pads and rotors and there is still a faint squeak! these were suppose to be quite brakes lol. The feel just like stock I can't tell a difference except these make more noise. I am doing the ss lines and fluid this Friday and I will be taking the car out to Blackhawk this Saturday for a driving school. I hope the lines and fluid make an improvement otherwise it was over $650 for the same as stock. At least the slotted rotors look cool lol
